The Triumphal Arch (The Arc De Triumphe) in Paris
France was finished for inauguration on 1836, during the reign of Loius
Philippe. However the rest of "Place de L'Etoile" where The Triumphal Arch
is situated was finished only after 1854. The Arch of Triumph and its
massive pies are decorated with bas relief depicting scenes from Era of
revolutions (late XVIII and early XIX centuries). |
