The Victory Square in the city of Minsk with its
slogan "Deeds of the People is Immortal" represents still extant Communism
spirit. The Victory Monument was inaugurated on July 4, 1954 and was built
to the memory of soldiers of Soviet Army and Belarusian partisans who
perished in Second World War. The monument has become a symbol of the
Belarusian capital. |
