This throne found in tomb of the King
Tutankhamun is made of wood completely covered in gold and in some places
silver. It is known as “Lion Throne” as of the lion heads on the arms of the
throne. The tracery on the back of the throne represents Tutankhamun sitting
in the throne and his wife Ankhesenamun who faces him and is touching his
shoulder. |
